Moscow School District Superintendent Greg Bailey presented information on the proposed increase to the indefinite supplemental levy at the League of Women Voters of Moscow forum noon-1 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 31) in the Arts Room of the 1912 Center, 412 E. Third St., Moscow.

     

He discussed the impact the increase will have for the school district and district property owners, and answer any questions the audience may have regarding this proposal. The Nov. 6 ballot question seeks to increase the current levy by $1.9 million to cover maintenance and operations costs

     

Bailey has been MSD superintendent for the past five years. He has been an educator for 32 years, 26 of which were in educational leadership. He received his doctorate from Northwest Nazarene, a masters from the University of Nevada-Reno and education specialist and bachelor's degrees from the University of Idaho.
