Tyler Palmer discussed "City of Moscow
Sustainability Initiatives" at the League of Women Voters of Moscow
(LWV-Moscow) public forum in the Arts Workshop of this Moscow’s 1912
Community Center. Palmer provided an update on: the city’s
greenhouse gas Inventory; the EcoDriver Program; water conservation
program; the newly developed Environmental Stewardship Award; and the
impending Phase II storm water permit. He also discussed Moscow’s
efforts toward sustainability, and the challenges and opportunities
presented in local government. Palmer is the acting director of the city of Moscow
Public Works Department. He
holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University
of Idaho. He has worked in
various positions during his 17 years in public works.
